Mavis Nye Cycle Challenge

Beacon staff members are taking on a long distance gruelling challenge of cycling from their most Northern depot in Newcastle all the way down to their most Southern depot in West Thurrock.

This challenge will be a 3 day event with each section averaging over 100 miles.

The team are raising money for the Mavis Nye Foundation, dedicated to finding a cure and developing treatment for mesothelioma.

Mavis contracted this horrible disease after being exposed when she was washing her husbands contaminated overalls every day.
